Weight Training and Conditioning

It’s not just a saying that players are built in the weight room, it’s absolutely true.  The 2011 season begins now.  The conditioning will not only make you a better player, it will be the thing that will keep you healthy throughout the season.

Many of the players have been “chomping at the bit” to get started on the off-season weight training and conditioning. Well, our conditioning coaches, Evan Ruffner and Mike Collazos, are excited about starting back up again. Here’s the schedule, beginning Thursday, January 6, 2011:
 
Tuesdays and Thursdays:
5:00 – 5:45 pm weight training for the younger guys
5:45 – 6:45 pm weight training for the older guys
 
Mondays:
5:00 - 6:00 pm  running and cardio conditioning for all the guys
 
Players are to meet at the weight room for every session.
